Demand Planner

TYPE OF BUSINESS: Beauty Retail (HBA)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Demand Forecasting & Order Management

• Perform demand forecasting and inventory analysis by determine optimal inventory levels to prevent overstock or stockout situations

• Collect and analyze historical sales data and market trends to forecast demand across product categories.

• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Merchandising, Purchasing) to integrate promotional plans into demand forecasts to align supply with expected demand.

• Generate purchase requests (PR) and purchase orders (PO) for replenishment based on forecast and stock level analysis.

• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply issues.

Replenishment & Optimization

• Analyze store-level sales and stock to issue replenishment orders.

• Plan and allocate initial stock for new store openings based on store format, location, and expected demand.

• Evaluate inventory movement across the network to manage store transfers and optimize product availability.

• Analyze and process product returns from stores, ensuring minimal stock obsolescence.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Reporting

• Work closely with the warehouse, logistics, and purchasing teams to ensure supply continuity.

• Prepare regular reports on demand accuracy, inventory status, and supplier performance.

• Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by management to support business operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in related field

• Direct experience in demand planning, inventory management in retail industry

• Strong analytical skills with experience with ERP is a plus

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Good communication and coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration

• Proactive, fast learner, and comfortable working in a dynamic, startup environment
