Youll be part of a dynamic and growing team who is looking to continue to work on some of the most iconic, interesting, and innovative projects contributing to the energy transition. As Team Leader you will have the responsibility for the management of: - Building and leading an electrical team by being the focal point to manage projects, workload and resources. - Staff development, training, and wellbeing. - Technical governance and compliance. - Work winning activities and business development. With a solid background in high voltage network and interconnection design, you will be commercially astute, technically strong and bring an entrepreneurial approach to your work. This role will lead, supervise, and mentor a team of engineers, along with: - Lead, contribute and oversee front-end and detailed design of HV and MV electrical systems, cables and substations (both for onshore and offshore infrastructure). - Lead the team to deliver project management, relationship management and technical design responsibilities. - Help support the seamless integration of local and global resources, collaborating with the key experts within and outside the region. - .Degree level qualifications in electrical engineering or equivalent. - Experience in detailed design of HV and MV electrical systems, preferably including interconnection on renewable energy projects - Experience in people management, preferably in a consultancy environment, and in a client facing role. - Demonstrable understanding of people motivation and situational leadership styles. - Excellent inter-personal and communication skills. - Evidence of technical competence, self-motivation, ability to use own initiative, flexible, problem solving approach. - Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment. - Ability to communicate clearly & concisely in English, both verbally & written and ability to explain technical issues to non-engineers, including Clients. - Able to collate, analyse and act upon complex and diverse information from a variety of sources and give advice for senior management level decision making Job Profile - .
