Head of Technology Risk

Purpose: To provide support and guidance on information security processes, controls, and compliance, and information security risk management to key stakeholders. **Responsibilities**: - Review and implement the technology risk management policy, with reference to Group and regulatory requirements. - Preparing regular management reports on technology risk status. - Assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of the controls from a technology risk perspective during due diligence of new products/ service propositions and incident handling, - Provide risk management advise and recommendation on new technology solution of IT initiatives. - Coordinate technology risk related regulatory examinations and communications, conduct reviews to identify possible risks and provide recommendations to address the control weakness, and monitor the implementation progress of the remedial action(s) **Qualifications**: - Bachelor degree holder or above with major in Information Technology or related disciplines. - 5 years or above experience, within which at least 3 years of experience or above is in IT security, technology risk or IT audit (preferably within financial services industry) - Preferable to hold relevant qualifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISM (Certified Information Systems Auditor ), CIPM (Certified Information Privacy Manager), CBCI of Business Continuity Institute, BCCE of Business Continuity Management Institute, or CPCP of Disaster Recovery Institute. Other requirements - Excellent communication, influencing, negotiating and broad organizational skills - Able to manage multiple stakeholders within the group and externally - Confidence to take ideas forward and to professionally challenge others, where appropriate - Attention to details, good analytical and interpersonal skills. - Proven ability to anticipate, identify risks and mitigate risk - Ability to lead BCP and incident management response teams. - Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
