At BASF, careers develop from opportunities. **Main responsibilities**: - Drive implementation and monitoring the progress and momentum of Asia Pacific Strategic Technical path, target setting to achieve strategic path objectives - Implement a clear Direct Importers technical channel from APAC Applications to market by building value chain skill sets, know-how and accountabilities with clearly defined targets - By consultation with business development management teams and direct importer management, prioritize technical service solutions needs, training needs, product demands and Bodyshop binding initiatives - Support Direct Importers Sales teams as Technical Expert in negotiations with OEM and MSO business opportunities, by driving customer technical acquisition strategies, competitor technical argumentation, process optimization and customer focus solutions to grow the business for the Direct Importers market. - Substantiate communication channels between Regional Application, Regional BDM, Regional SAM and DI organization to create formal planning, forecasting, reporting and follow-up actions based on critical success factors **Qualifications**: - Bachelors degree in Chemical or equivalent - Minimum 10 years of experiences in automotive technical management, process analysis and improvement, project management or customer technical support - Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, strong leadership skill - Demonstrated entrepreneurial drive and logical thinking - Good communication and presentation skill in English **Work location** - Emporium Office, Bangkok
