Responsibilities

• Work with Garment Product Development Team in Thailand and China
• Help to evaluate all prototypes and samples with designers and product development team to ensure design esthetic, fit details and workmanship are correct, materials used fall within the required costing structure and projected finished goods are consumer friendly.
• Daily communication between Design/Product development teams/Sourcing offices. 
• Work intensively with Product Development director and product development team in China on efficient production techniques to improve cost and productivity.
• International travel and communication/meetings with offices in China.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 years experience working as a Product Developer at a factory or brand.
• Passionate about fashion industry and garment manufacturing process.
• Some knowledge of garment construction, fit, costing, fabric characteristics, manufacturing processes and garment care.
• Must possess a positive attitude towards challenges and changes.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, detail oriented and open minded.
• A great communicator and is able to keep a professional manner under WIP pressure. Who is able to work with various personalities.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required
