Research and Development Technologist - Food

Our client is a global manufacturer of confectionery coated products that appeal to many sectors of the food and beverage industry. The R&D Technologist will work at our clients manufacturing and innovation center in Nakhon Ratchasima and will join an existing R&D team, with the responsibility for the creation and development of confectionary and sweet products, with the following responsibilities: **Responsibilities**: - Develop and document the creation of new and existing products, formulations, ingredient specifications, and process specifications. - Source new raw materials for competitive advantage, cost efficiency and innovation. - Manage production and testing on new products with the production team. - Develops close working relationships with selected / assigned customers through regular direct contact thereby ensuring that the business understands the customers requirements (ingredient, product, and legislative restrictions), their operational processes and their technical requirements. - Participate on cross-functional teams to assure timely accomplishment of customer requirements among QA, QC, Production, Customer Service, Logistic teams. - Fill assigned sample requests and follow-up with customers. - Being responsible for documentation update, including technical information support and prepare essential reports. - Handle customers complaints regarding food safety and quality of raw materials, packages, delivery processes, etc.; co-ordinates with concerned personnel to solve problems. **Qualifications**: - Degree qualified in a Food Science or Technology related field. - Experience in Research & Development in Food ingredients, confectionaries and sweets will be an advantage. - Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects and changing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Computer literate with a good level of English. **What Our Client Offers**: - Monthly Performance bonus - Medical and Life Insurance - Free shuttle van in and out from the factory to town. - Working 5 days/ week Peak Recruitment acts an employment agency for permanent roles within the food and agriculture industries globally. **Salary**: ฿40,000.00 - ฿50,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate: - Thailand: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
