Steam Technician Required

**Duties & Responsibilities** - Inspect, repair, and maintain steam machines/rooms, keeping detailed records of all work completed. - Perform regular maintenance such as cleaning, descaling, and making minor repairs to prevent major issues from developing. - Respond to emergency calls for service 24/7 by management or staff, troubleshooting problems and making repairs as needed. - Install new steam systems according to specifications, connecting pipes, fittings, and controls. - Test newly installed systems to ensure they are operating correctly and make any necessary adjustments. - Maintain a safe work environment by following all company safety policies. - Prepare cost estimates for replacement parts and new equipment. - Generate reports detailing work performed and time spent on each job. **Required Skills and Qualifications** - High school diploma or equivalent - Technical training in steam box/rooms maintenance, repair, and installation - 3+years experience in the same field or similar field. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals. - Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. - Working knowledge of hand and power tools
