Accountant

Job description

• Maintains general ledgers and performs the complete accounting cycle in compliance with established practices and generally accepted accounting principles.
• Adheres to internal control policies and procedures
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Analyze financial trends and develop reports to support management decision-making.
• Advise management on financial matters and compliance with financial regulations.
• Continuously improves and serves as a resource in their area of responsibility
• Has multiple interactions with internal customers

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field required.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial accounting preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP or IFRS.
• Strong English communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with financial accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) preferred.
• CPA certification preferred.
