Assistant R&d Packaging Manager

Our client is a leading Global Beverage Manufacturing in Thailand and now they are seeking for Assistant R&D Packaging Manager. With our global presence, brands, business, and mission. - Leading and conducting secure and productive projects related to packaging. - Coloring printing proof, technical support on packaging technology. - Identifying and prioritizing key packaging development steps and identifying resources for the completion of packaging projects to meet short and long-term business objectives. - Conducting Packaging Development and Testing of new, alternative, and existing packaging for new and existing products. - Communicating packaging requirements both formally and informally within function and cross function, to achieve projects and business goals. - Resolving problems related to packaging. - Updating and maintaining Packaging information/specifications in the companys sharing system. - Discussing concepts, and details of Packaging Development with the team. - Coordinating on packaging trial run schedule, and actual commercial production schedule. - Providing the specification of packaging material to meet the companys standard for cost evaluation and purchasing for commercial production. - Coordinating packaging testing relayed to machinability and production process. - Providing Packaging information and specification for use in the production process. - Coordinating packaging detail, testing, and specifications for quality control. - Coordinating on pallet pattern specification. - Packaging materials and Finished product issuing for testing and sample preparation. - Coordinating on adapting and adjusting machines to run new or existing packaging with high efficiency. - Identifying and implementing packaging technology and innovation to enhance commercialization and operational effectiveness. - Innovating in packaging design, structure, and manufacturing processes for cost savings. - Working closely with a multi-functional team in ensuring that the packaging quality and specifications can meet the market requirement. - Supporting Regional packaging development. - Maintaining improvement and developing a robust packaging system. - Developing packaging development skills and leadership capabilities of the packaging team. - Assisting in other Packaging Development and Packaging tasks, which are assigned by Packaging Development Manager or Senior Manager. - Supporting Quality System ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP, ISO 14001, and FSSC 22000. **Qualifications** - Bachelors degree in Packaging Technology or higher or a related field. - At least 3-5 years in Graphic design or Packaging artwork design field, experience in FMCG and Can Packaging preferred. - Good command of English. - Have proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, Internet, and specific program for packaging. - Knowledge of basic packaging materials and food packaging development work skills. - Knowledge of Printing Technology. - Rigorous, systematic, and a fast learner. - Understand and be capable of basic statistic programs. - Experience with BOM and SAP would be an advantage.
