Division Manager - Compounding, Processing and

**Roles & Responsibilities** - Execute strategy, roadmap, activities plan, resource plan (including budget and manpower), targets, for polymer compounding, processing, and material characterization to drive polymer business growth in strategic market, as well as creating business value by enhancing high value products and solutions. - Manage GC capability of Application Development Center including: - Product engineering design and simulation - Polymer processing technology including collaboration to GC business team and business partners to introduce new processing technology to the market - Product prototyping and support business team to scale-up product/solution to the market - Develop people competencies for “Compounding”, “Polymer Processing” and “Material Characterization” to serve business growth. - Manage and promote excellence operation service for compounding, polymer processing, product design and prototyping and processing technology development and ensure effective R&D projects execution under GC good governance (GRC) and risk management and sustainability. - Provide technical perspective to business team to develop Strategic Market Plan (SMP), New Application and Product Development (NAPD) and Rapid Market Assessment (RMA) as a team member. - Interact with customers according to marketing team request. **Qualifications** - Master or Ph.D. in Polymer, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related filed. - Knowledge in polymer processing eg. plastic injection, film blowing, rotomolding - Knowledge of plastic product design and mold design would be an advantage. - Strong leadership skill, catalyst of change - Good collaboration with several stakeholders (internal/external) - Good command of English
