General Manager - Supply Chain

**Country**: Thailand** Location**: Carrier (Thailand) Limited, 1858/63-74 Interlink Tower, Debaratna Road, Bangna Tai, Bangna Bangkok 10260, Thailand Key Responsibilities - Provide leadership and manage a team of 50+ strong with multiple levels of management - Develop & implement goals consistent with business objectives and align to global supply chain directions - Manage demand & supply planning process in coordination with production planning and sales organization - Manage key procurement initiatives - sourcing localization, multi sourcing, material cost reduction, value analysis or value engineering, indirect materials sourcing and containment, etc. working closely with Engineering, Quality and global supply chain. - Manage strong and influential relationships with external partners in procurement, and engage with internal and external stakeholders - Able to identify, respond quickly to changes in the business environment - Drive people leadership - Attract and develop a strong talent pipeline based on capability for future growth. Drive a robust succession strength for critical positions. - Champion safety and drive a culture of safe service operations for both employees and extended partners. - Drive for continuous improvement on supply chain processes and tools in ensuring business needs on cost, lead time, service level performance, and quality are all met Essential Requirements - Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related technical discipline - Relevant experience in Supply Chain or Operations of which 10+ years leading diverse teams, preferably in the multinational environment - Growth mindset and strategic leadership with a track record of developing & implementing initiatives & delivering successful growth - Demonstrated success on business process improvement, working with teams globally, and in matrix structure - Knowledge and experience in sourcing following commodities such as Copper, Aluminum, Steel, Compressors, Electronic parts and Electrical controls will be required. - A track record of developing internal talent, retain and attract diverse talent into the organization, a leader that connects with purpose and brings others along. - A Diversity and Inclusion advocate, ensures a safe space for the team as well as drives the speak up culture **Carrier is An Equal **Opportunity/Affirmative** Action Employer.
