Indirect Material Procurements

**About our group**: Indirect Material Procurements Buyer response to purchase indirect material including but not limited; Manufacturing, Engineering, Facility Supplies related, construction projects, consultants, IT-related hardware/software for factories, Services, Tooling/Fabrication, etc. **About the role - you will**: - Review and analyze purchase requisitions - Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, facility, and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost-effective and timely manner - Process Request for Quotation, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders - Manage procurement of business system data input and integrity - Participate in maximizing the procurement teams changes, supplier database information, error report analysis and supplier information - Perform cost analysis and work with requester for volume planning for major commodities (e.g. materials, components, equipment and services) - Monitor the cost, schedule and scope of assigned suppliers to negotiate the highest quality at the best value - Develop new supply sources where suppliers are no longer competitive - Recommend cost-saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis or alternative sourcing - Interact closely with suppliers and quality concerned related departments to resolve quality issues - Work with management to address all aspects of commodity management, including procurement support, commodity business plans, market trends assessment, pricing, and product availability - Participate in office Lean team and develop work per Lean concept **About you**: - Critical thinking skills. - Strong leadership and teamwork skills. - Well negotiating skills to secure reasonable prices. - Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal. - Good computer skills (Oracle ERP, SAP ERP, Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint) is a must. - Good data analytic and data science skills (Excel, Knime, Alteryx, Power BI, Python) is preferable **Your experience includes**: - Purchasing and Supplier Management **Location**: Home to 4,000+ employees, our Teparuk site produces nano-recording heads, a crucial component of the read/write functionality of a hard disk drive.
