To better serve our clients business needs, we have also organized our expertise into the following practice groups: - Aviation - Banking, Finance and Technology - Corporate and Commercial - Compliance and Investigations - Dispute Resolution - Mergers and Acquisitions - Energy, Mining and Infrastructure - Real Estate and Construction - Employment and Labor - Taxation **_Position_** **Reports to**: Managing Director, DFDL Thailand Partners and Project Managers **Key external relationships**: Clients **Key internal relationships**: Partners, Directors, Senior Managers and other staffs **Number of hiring**: 01 **Salary range**: Competitive commensurate with experience and qualifications **Position type**: Full time: Monday to Friday - 9:00 a.m. to 18.00 p.m. **Location**: Bangkok, Thailand As a **Legal Advisor**-**Dispute Resolution Practice**, you are expected to undertake the following activities and tasks: **_Main duties of the role_** - Support senior team members on all aspects of commercial and criminal litigation, arbitration, and other case assignments from case inception to completion. - Provide drafts of written and verbal advice for clients. - Interact with government officials and police. - Assist in analyzing case facts and legal issues. - Prepare drafts for pleadings, petitions, and other court submissions. - Conduct legal research and draft legal opinions. - Draft agreements, including settlement agreements. - Conduct marketing and business development work, including writing of articles, presentation of seminars, and performing other non-billable work so as to build the reputation of the firm. **Requirements**: **_ Essential skills & experience:_** - Qualified Thai lawyer with exceptional academic background; Masters Degree of law will be preferred - Obtain a lawyers license. - 3-5 years of experience as a dispute resolution lawyer in Thailand working on a variety of litigation and arbitration matters - Good command of verbal and written English and ability to communicate with foreign clients comfortably - Proficient in both spoken and written Thai and English. - Strong practical knowledge of the Thai legal system - Able to work under pressure and time constraint - Be enthusiastic person and effective team member - Position will be based in Bangkok and may require occasional travel up-country.
