About the role

GP Electronics & Acoustics Co., Ltd. is seeking an experienced Materials Manager to join our dynamic team in Sam Phran Nakhon Pathom. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of materials essential to our production operations. Your strategic leadership and expertise will be crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods, enabling us to deliver high-quality products to our customers.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and implement effective materials management strategies to optimise inventory levels, minimise costs, and ensure the timely availability of materials

2. Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to secure the best possible terms and conditions

3. Monitor and analyse inventory data, forecasting demand, and making data-driven decisions to maintain optimal stock levels

4. Oversee the distribution and transportation of materials to production sites, ensuring on-time delivery and minimal disruptions

5. Collaborate with production, planning, and logistics teams to align materials management with broader operational objectives

6. Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems and processes to maintain accuracy and accountability

7. Identify and resolve supply chain issues proactively, minimising the impact on production and customer deliveries

8. Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior management on materials-related metrics and performance

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field

2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a materials management or supply chain role, preferably in the manufacturing industry

3. Proven track record in optimising inventory levels, reducing costs, and improving supply chain efficiency

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions

5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

6. Proficient in the use of materials management software and technologies

7. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and best practices
