Quality Manager, Sea Region

Quality Manager, South East Asia Are you passionate and competent Quality professional? We have a great opportunity for you in South East Asia! As, Quality Manager, SEA, a part of the Valmet Operational Excellence team, you will lead and manage quality operations for SEA region covering Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, and other future countries in driving effective management system, operations, initiatives, and implementations both in Valmet premises and at customer sites. You will be strong leader / influencer in collaborating with all functions, especially operation and field services, to enhance world class quality practices, meeting customer requirements and expectations as well as relevant legal compliance in South East Asia. You will work closely with Quality professionals in the Asia Pacific area and the business lines as well as with management teams, Global Management System owner, line managers and employees in the countries to build up strong and effective quality operations and awareness. This includes manages small but effective quality team in South East Asia. Your main responsibilities: - Quality Management System - Leads to establish, maintains, facilitates, and develop Quality Management System (QMS) for all operations / functions in Valmet Co., Ltd. in South East Asia as required by the Valmet aiming at effective QMS, including monitoring and review for continuous improvement. - Ensure lively quality and QMS awareness and culture throughout organization. - Quality Assurance & Control - Ensure customers requirements and product specifications are well established, communicated and complied with. - Manages quality control and assurance mechanisms in all operations to meet requirements, including suppliers or sub-contractors relevant to products. - Verifies and approves quality warrantees or grants prior delivering to customers. - Manage and involve in quality issue analysis, solving and prevention by collaborating with relevant parties. - Ensure global initiatives are localized. - Supervise Quality team. - Management System - Leads effective integrated management system of Quality and HSE or further requirements. - Perform according to Quality, Safety, Environmental and other companys management system, policies, practices and instructions. - Promote Management System and tools throughout the organization and monitor Key Performance Indicators. To be successful in this role, you will need to have: - Bachelor of Engineering or related fields. - Working experiences in quality for 7-10 years, in pulp & paper business is advantage. - 5 years up direct experience in QMS and other management system e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001. - Good at analysis and using quality tools. - Strong in facilitation, supportive, collaboration, presentation, education, proactive communication, constructive feedback, and persuasion. - Results-orientation, leadership skills, experience in project and change management. - Logic, systematic and structural thinking. - Strong leadership. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, fluent in Thai. Other languages are a merit. - Mature, self-motivated, self-initiative, self-confident, self-driven, good team player and willingness to learn. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, ERP, e.g. BAAN or LN.. - Willing to travel to Valmet locations and customer mills.
