Senior Merchandising Manager - Medicines / Drugs

Our client is a fast-growing impact-driven healthcare technology company, focusing on advancing healthcare for hundreds of millions of people across Asia. Founded by Ivy League Veterans in the healthcare sector, our client has introduced the new platform for pharmacies to make online purchasing and get insight into their competitors with a new state of the art B2B platform in the pharmaceutical sector. Due to the tremendous growth and current expansion of their Thailand operations, our client is seeking a merchandiser professional to take on the following role - Designing and implementing strategies and tactics to grow our Pharmacy business - Managing the entire acquisition process for new products, including sourcing, price negotiations and commercial terms - Maintaining strong partnerships with suppliers - Continuously reviewing our product mix and identify opportunities for growth - Working together with senior leaders across the organization, as well as external parties on activities to grow emerging product brands, as well as slow-moving and established products - Managing plans for stock levels, adapt to changing circumstances in supply and demand - Developing and implementing promotional plans together with the marketing team Qualifications: - At least 4+ years of relevant experience in a retail merchandising, category management, product development and/or product marketing role - Experience in a fast-paced setting; experience in independent pharmacy, chain pharmacy, pharmaceutical distributor or wholesaler environment is key - Excellent command in both spoken and written English and Thai - Highly organized, assertive with strong negotiating skills, and able to work under pressure - Strong communication skills - Exceptional analytical and quantitative analysis skills, strong commercial and strategic business sense Our client offers their employees with an attractive remuneration package that includes competitive basic salary and industry leading insurance plans.
