Sous Chef

Working with a talented team of Food & Beverage professionals, The Peninsula Bangkok is seeking a Sous Chef who will be responsible for planning, directing, controlling, coordinating, and participating in the daily activities of food preparation in the kitchen. - Work for a luxurious Five-Star property located alongside the scenic Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. - Grow within a strong culinary team - Favorable remuneration package **Responsibilities** - Ensures food quality safety is achieved always. - Responsible for hygiene standards in Kitchen. - Develop and present menu and food items, and prepare recipes and cost cards - Maintains and constantly improves the quality of food. **Requirements**: - Minimum of 5 years culinary leadership experience in a Five-Star hotel in this role - Experience in Thai cuisine. - Relevant professional qualifications (eg. Culinary, Hospitality, Business, Marketing) - The ability to speak English fluently, additional languages would be highly advantageous
