Responsibilities:
Define and design backend software architecture in collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements.
Identify areas of complexity, performance bottlenecks, and propose appropriate solutions.
Scope deliverables, break down tasks, and assign realistic timelines.
Demonstrate strong ethics, teamwork, and a collaborative mindset while sharing knowledge with team members.
Work closely with front-end developers to integrate web or mobile applications seamlessly.
Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend APIs.
Take initiative in learning new technologies and share best practices with the team.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in development standards and processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Passionate about software engineering, application development, and systems development.
Strong understanding of software engineering concepts, design patterns, and algorithms.
Minimum 1 year of experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Node.js or React.js (Golang is a plus).
Minimum 2 years of experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, etc., including stored procedures.
Experience with real-time systems or messaging systems is an advantage.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Experience in marketplace platforms, eCommerce applications, or product-based development is a plus.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
