In the role of Tunnel Ventilation Product Assistant Manager, your work will focus to support the Tunnel Ventilation Product Manager (TVPM) to improve the organization's market position and financial growth in the Tunnel Ventilation market sector. Your work also includes assisting in product improvement, working closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate projects and ensuring customer satisfaction by supporting Kruger Associate companies and their customers both direct (Contractors) and indirect (Consulting Engineers) through the selection of products; supporting negotiation of price and supporting Tunnel fan sales orders.
In addition, in liaison with TVPM, you will be responsible for defining the short, medium and long-term organizational strategic goals Tunnel Ventilation segment; identifying business opportunities; defining scope-of-works for new product developments and maintaining extensive knowledge of market conditions.
Responsibilities:
In liaison with local Kruger Associate companies and partners, support the presentation, selection and quotation of Kruger products for Tunnel Fan ventilation system projects.
Work with TVPM to Identify new business opportunities through local Associate company feedback and market data driven services including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services.
Work with TVPM to Identify Key organizations, companies and individuals responsible for the speciation and tender of Tunnel fan ventilation projects across Kruger addressable markets.
Understand the needs of each local market customers and be able to respond effectively to support these requirements.
Have an extensive understanding of the Kruger's products or services and be able to advise and train others about them.
Create and present weekly/monthly reports providing summary of work to TVPM.
Keep abreast of trends and changes in the Tunnel fan markets. Attend seminars and improve technical and market knowledge base as needed.
Skills & Qualifications.
Minimum BSc Degree level education and qualification in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
2-5 years working in product management role.
Strong English communication skills required; Chinese language ability will be specially considered.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally.
Competent knowledge of MS Office products including MS Word and Excel.
Ability to work autonomously to meet goals and targets.
Ability to lead and motivate a team of people.
