As a Tire design engineer, this position requires working under the direction of the company and the Tire Development Team.
· To survey markets in APIC region to propose new products, find new technology direction, and understand market.
· To develop new products for Passenger/Commercial cars in APIC region.
· To support technical matters based on the existing data for future tire development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Tire development (70%)
(1) Development tire for Car manufacturing
(2) Development tire for end users
(3) On-site observation of tire performance in Proving Ground and analyze results for the development
(4) Project management
(5) Communication with customers and among companies
(i.e., Trip to each Asia Pacific region for having a meeting with customers and the group's company members)
(6) Coordinate with relevant parties for tire development process
2. Market and competitor survey (30%)
(1) Trip to each Asia Pacific market for gathering new information (market, customers, and competitors)
(2) Analysis of competitor product
Job requirements :- Bachelor's degree in engineering or above, Knowledge of Engineering, Physics, Mechanics, Mathematics.- High proficiency in English (TOEIC score: over 700 is preferred).
