We are seeking a visionary Business Development Manager to help us expand our market presence, identify new opportunities, and strengthen our competitive position in the laboratory supply industry.
About the RoleThis role focuses on driving Apex Chemicals' growth strategy by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, developing initiatives to strengthen our competitive position and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align business strategies with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning & Market Development:
Identify new markets, customer segments, and opportunities for product/service diversification
Conduct in-depth market trends research and competitor activities to adapt strategies
Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue growth and market expansion objectives
2. Partnership & Opportunity Management
Build and manage a robust pipeline of business opportunities
Establish partnerships with distributors, vendors, or collaborators to expand Apex Chemicals' reach
Negotiate partnership agreements and ensure alignment with brand and commercial goals
3. Project Execution
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and other teams to launch market entry initiatives
Oversee strategic projects from concept to execution
4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Prepare and present business development reports, including pipeline updates, revenue forecasts, and market insights
Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in business development initiatives
Share findings with senior management to guide decision-making
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
At least 3+ years of experience in business development or sales roles within industries such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or laboratory supplies.
Proven ability to identify new business opportunities and successfully execute growth strategies.
Strong understanding of market dynamics in Thailand's chemical or laboratory supply sectors.
