Our client is an international company with manufacturing expertise, specializing in Aerospace and Electric Vehicle aluminum components. They are seeking an experienced Quality Technician/CMM Operator to join their manufacturing team. This role involves conducting part-time measurements at both our factory and supplier sites, ensuring accuracy and quality, and reporting back to the Quality Management Team.
The position is essential in maintaining high standards of precision and quality in production. Responsibilities Perform part measurements using CMM and other quality inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product accuracy
Conduct quality inspections at the factory and supplier locations, reporting results to the Quality Management TeamPrepare and maintain standard quality and dimension reports for internal and external use
Apply GD&T principles to ensure precise product specifications
Utilize MSA (measurement system analysis) and SPC (statistical process control) to monitor and improve production processes
Collaborate with the production team to address quality concerns and implement 8D problem-solving methodologies
Support continuous improvement initiatives by participating in Six Sigma training and related quality improvement projects'Qualifications Minimum 2 years experience in quality control, preferably in the metal or related industry
Proficient in using CMM for product inspection
Experience with quality inspection tools like calipers, micrometers; experience with vision measurement systems is a plus
Good command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
Strong understanding of GD&TKnowledgeable in MSA (measurement system analysis) and SPC (statistical process control)Familiarity with ISO9001 and IATF16949; Six Sigma certification is preferred
Experience with PPAP/APQP is an advantage
Ability to prepare standard quality and dimension reports
Familiar with 8D problem-solving and willing to undergo Six Sigma training
