• Code Development & Feature Shipping: Design, develop, test, and maintain clean, scalable, and high-performance code, primarily using Ruby on Rails and React.

  Qualifications & Skills

  • Professional Experience: 2+ years in a professional software development role, with a proven track record of shipping web applications.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Expertise in Ruby on Rails is essential; our core backend is built on it.

    • Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks, primarily React.

    • Experience with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., Redis) databases.

    • Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions).

    • Solid understanding of building and consuming RESTful APIs.

  • Pace & Adaptability: Ability to thrive in the fast-paced, deadline-driven environment of the live events industry, demonstrating resilience and agility when priorities shift.
