We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Officer to oversee and implement health, safety, and environmental programs in our commercial office setup in Thailand. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of office safety, fire safety, and driver safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Core HSE Responsibilities:
Office Safety:
o Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
o Ensure compliance with Thai occupational health and safety regulations.
o Promote ergonomic practices and environmental sustainability initiatives.
Fire Safety:
o Maintain fire safety systems and equipment.
o Coordinate with landlord and REFS for fire drills and emergency evacuation exercises.
o Liaise with local fire authorities and ensure fire safety compliance.
Driver Safety:
o Implement and monitor safe driving policies for company drivers.
o Lead driver safety training and awareness programs.
o Review incident reports and recommend corrective actions.
General duties:
• Promote a positive health and safety culture across the organization.
• Develop and implement the health and safety policy in line with corporate and legal requirements.
• Establish and maintain effective communication systems for HSE information.
• Identify, assess, and control health and safety risks proactively.
• On time HSE&ES performance reporting.
• Lead the development of emergency response systems and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in a commercial office environment.
• Knowledge of Thai HSE regulations and standards.
• Knowledge in fire and driver safety is an advantage.
• Strong communication and training skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and HSE reporting tools.
• Must be able to communicate in English
*This is a contract position with Manpower for 6 months (with benefits) and able to renew contract by company consideration.
