Job responsibilities:Maintenance ManagementTeam Leadership: Lead and develop the maintenance team, ensuring they understand and fulfill their roles to support smooth and continuous plant operations. Operational Excellence: Drive the maintenance team to ensure production output aligns with Annual Operating Plans (AOP) through effective Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs. Compliance & Standards: Ensure the department complies with all plant-wide Quality, Safety, and Environmental programs, including GMP, ISO, HACCP, and FSSC.
This also includes upholding the company's vision, core values, and quality policies. Performance Monitoring: Oversee all maintenance activities, focusing on quality, delivery, and cost control. Implement corrective and preventive actions when performance falls below standard.
Technical & Process ImprovementSystem Development: Develop, implement, and update the plant's Preventive Maintenance System (PMS) to keep all equipment production ready. Problem-Solving: Guide maintenance staff and machine operators in performing PM, equipment changeovers, and troubleshooting machine problems. Record-Keeping & Approval: Review and finalize maintenance records and approve requisitions for spare parts and supplies.
Initiate Improvements: Lead machine improvements and corrective actions in the utilities, processing, and packaging lines. New Technology: Study and implement new technologies to improve plant maintenance. This includes planning, providing mechanical and electrical designs, and creating machine layouts.
Personnel Management & AdministrationSubordinate Development: Review and appraise the skills and performance of team members for career advancement and professional growth. Policy Implementation: Interpret and implement company policies to foster a harmonious and effective working environment within the maintenance team. Guidance & Counseling: Provide coaching and appropriate counsel to team members to help them with their functions and responsibilities.
Budgeting & Planning: Assist the Technical Manager with preparing the maintenance and operating budgets, feasibility studies, long-range planning, and technical training programs. Safety & ComplianceHSE Policy: Support the implementation of the plant's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policy to achieve effective results. Continuous Improvement: Work with top executives to analyze the company's strategic direction and HSE assessments to encourage continuous improvement in HSE management.
Training & Administration: Administer training in accordance with legal requirements and company procedures related to HSE.Participation: Actively participate in all activities and programs to achieve quality, food safety, and environmental goals set by the plant. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering field. Minimum 5 years supervisory experience preferably in Maintenance task.
Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment desired. Organizational skills required to manage multiple maintenance tasks. Interpersonal skills required to function with the maintenance and inter-departmental teams, including engineering team.
A confident self-starter with decision-making abilities and result oriented. Demonstrated leadership qualities. Excellent verbal and written communication.
Good knowledge of F&B manufacturing.
